intimacy, and stability

I offer virtual couples and relationship therapy for monogamous and non-monogamous partners in Colorado, Massachusetts, and New Mexico.

Hands-on practice with new relationship skills

Gain new skills together

In our sessions, we slow things down enough to notice what’s actually happening between you in real time. Then we practice new ways of listening, communicating, and collaborating. I’ll be actively guiding you both as you do the powerful work of growing into the partners you want to be.

Collaborative and directive

I offer thoughtful structure and direction throughout our sessions while centering your voices and priorities. The process feels co-created, balanced, and productive.

Remote Telehealth Sessions

All sessions take place virtually. Telehealth lets you participate from home — where your relationship patterns naturally show up. This means you can notice and work with your dynamics right in the environment where they typically occur. It also removes the stress of commuting and simplifies coordinating multiple schedules, so you can arrive calm, focused, and ready to engage in therapy.

Hi, I’m Micah.

I’m a queer and transgender therapist and I work with couples and non-monogamous partners who want to feel more connected, secure, and resilient in their relationships. My style is warm, grounded, and real. We’ll slow down together, listen deeply, and start to make sense of what’s happening between you.

My work is rooted in evidence-based approaches like The Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) and the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, and it’s also hands-on. We won’t just talk about connection — we’ll practice it. You’ll have the chance to try new ways of listening, communicating, and collaborating with each other right there in session.

My favorite thing about working with queer love is that it’s so beautifully self-defined. We aren’t handed a roadmap, so we make our own way forward — and that can be both liberating and hard. My role is to help you navigate that ever-unfolding terrain with curiosity, care, and collaboration. (Note: while I center LGBTQIA+ relationships in my practice, you do not have to be queer to work with me! I welcome clients of all identities and orientations.)

I am sex-positive, kink-affirming, non-monogamy informed, and committed to centering racial justice and disability justice in my practice. At the heart of my work is a belief that love is an ongoing practice — one that can engender a deep sense of belonging, vitality, and fulfillment.
